Nerea Rivas Márquez

Graduated in Chemical Engineering in 2019 and Master in Chemical Engineering in 2021, both from University of Malaga. She started researching thanks to a collaboration grant from “Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte” (2019/2020) to work in the Chemical Engineering Department of the University of Malaga. Later, she did the internship in the laboratory of Chemical Engineering, belonging to this same research group. She combined that task with the experimental development of her master project, which consisted of the study of the oxidative depolymerization reaction of lignin to produce vanillin, project awarded in the contest “TFM-3m” and which participated in the European Congress of Chemical Engineering (ECCE 2021). In June 2021, she obtained a “Garantía Juvenil ” contract at University of Málaga, which allowed her to begin her doctoral thesis.
